MISSION STATEMENT:

To educate Minnesotans about the impact of energy supply, conversion and use on our environment and economic prosperity through 3E (Energy, Environment, Economy) materials and demonstration of sustainable technologies and lifestyles.

HISTORY:

CREED was incorporated in 1997 as a 501(c) (3) to educate citizens and teachers about energy in the broadest sense of the definition.   Projects initiated, completed and/or ongoing include working with:

  • Minnesota Renewable Energy Society
  • Anoka County Department of Parks and Recreation
  • Three Rivers Regional Park District
  • Minnesota Office of Higher Education (MOHE)
  • Hamline University’s Center for Global Environmental Education
  • Laurentian Environmental Center
  • Minnesota Department(s) of Education, Commerce, Pollution Control, and Environmental Assistance.

SUPPORT:

CREED is seeking organizations, companies, and individuals to financially support these our mission.  CREED’s Board encourages funders to review other programs available to teachers, the costs, funding levels, successes, and note that they have not been able to reach the Minnesota teacher audience.  CREED does and will continue to do so. Your support will:

  • Be prudently spent in Minnesota
  • Be wisely used to help Minnesota teachers understand energy and energy industry jobs.
  • Be effectively invested in high quality performance results

The CREED Board of Directors invites you to invest in an organization that is meeting today’s energy education needs. Please contact Rich Huelskamp, Director, CREED Project for more information about how we can work together.
